We wouldn’t entirely recommend putting your money on these predictions, but this is how the weekend’s Premier League action is set to pan out according to our simulation on Football Manager 15:

Chelsea 1-0 West Bromwich Albion

Chelsea are having a much less successful season on our game than they are in real life, with Jose Mourinho’s men in fifth place, but they were able to win this one despite Cesc Fabregas receiving a straight red card after five minutes, with Eden Hazard scoring the only goal.

Everton 1-1 West Ham United

Everton are having a solid season and sit in sixth place on the game, but they were held by mid-table West Ham at Goodison Park as Romelu Lukaku equalised after Mauro Zarate had given the visitors a shock lead.

Leicester City 1-1 Sunderland

A tense battle at the foot of the table both on the game and in real life, the points were shared in the East Midlands after Ritchie de Laet gave the Foxes the lead but Connor Wickham equalised for Sunderland.

Manchester City 2-3 Swansea City

There was a shock at the Etihad Stadium as Swansea City came from behind to beat the side in second in the virtual table, with two late Wilfried Bony goals enough to mean that Stevan Jovetic and Yaya Toure’s strikers were immaterial for City.

Newcastle United 1-1 Queens Park Rangers

There was a clear theme of 1-1 draws from the fixtures this week, with Newcastle and QPR inseparable at St. James’ Park after Charlie Austin equalised once Ayoze Perez had put Alan Pardew’s side ahead early on.

Stoke City 1-2 Burnley

Stoke City are having a terrible season on the game, in contrast with their decent form under Mark Hughes in the real world, and were shocked at home by Burnley courtesy of a brace of headers from centre back Jason Shackell.

Arsenal 4-3 Manchester United

The most eye-catching fixture of the Premier League weekend is at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday night and the clash between Arsenal and Man United proved to be a classic on the game. Despite surrendering the lead three times to their visitors as Radamel Falcao hit a hat-trick, a late winner from Alexis Sanchez saw Arsenal home to a 4-3 win.

Crystal Palace 1-1 Liverpool

Another 1-1 draw came at Selhurst Park, where surprise in-game Premier League leaders Liverpool had to rescue a point against Crystal Palace after Dwight Gayle had given the hosts the lead, with Steven Gerrard scoring a penalty.

Hull City 1-0 Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham’s underwhelming Premier League season in real life is being reflected on the game as they are stuck in mid-table and lost to overachieving Hull City, with Nikica Jelavic’s goal keeping the Tigers in the top half.

Aston Villa 3-2 Southampton

The biggest difference between game and real life performance is from Southampton, who find themselves in a virtual relegation battle and were beaten in an entertaining game by Villa, with goals from Christian Benteke and Jack Grealish helping the hosts to lead 3-0 before a late rally.
