Next Premier League Manager To Be Sacked – Liverpool And Tottenham Bosses Among Favourites For The Chop

Here are the five favourites from the division to receive the chop.

5. Nigel Pearson, Leicester City

The Foxes started the season well, but now they just can’t seem to score and a string of bad results has seen them slip into the relegation zone and a more proven boss at this level may be preferred.

4. Brendan Rodgers, Liverpool

Last year the Reds coach was named Manager of the Year after guiding his team to second, but this time around things are not so rosy and Rodgers is staring at the very real possibility of being sacked.

3. Mauricio Pochettino, Tottenham Hotspur

The Argentine can’t get the best out of Spurs’ expensive purchases either and everyone knows how keen Daniel Levy is to sack bosses and to rub salt in the wounds Pochettino’s former club Southampton are thriving in his absence.

2. Harry Redknapp, QPR

Has plenty of experience in the English top flight, but Redknapp is not getting the best out of an expensive Hoops squad and perhaps the 66-year-old has had his time in management now.

1. Paul Lambert, Aston Villa

The favourite to be sacked next though is Lambert, with his Villa side struggling to score goals and creeping ever nearer to the relegation zone with each passing week.
