The paper have rated the top five goalies in the Premier League and have come up with a list that excludes Chelsea’s Thibaut Courtois and Arsenal’s Wojciech Szczesny. Amazingly four Englishmen have made it on to the top keeper’s table.

Here is the top five, what do you think? Surely Courtois deserves a spot?

5) Rob Green, QPR

The 34-year-old has been playing well for Harry Redknapp’s side, but his team are still averaging two goals conceded a match. Can you really be the fifth best stopper if you are letting this many in?

4) Ben Foster, West Bromwich Albion

The England squad member has been in good form for his club side. Although he does make the odd mistake, he is one of the best shot stoppers in the league.

3) Fraser Forster, Southampton

The former Celtic man made the move to the Premier League in the summer, and has mostly taken to it like a duck to water. His mistake against Aston Villa on Monday night is his first so far.

2) Joe Hart, Manchester City

The England and Citizens number one is now seen as one of the best keepers in the league. However, he does still have the odd error in his game that needs ironing out if he is going to emulate some of the national team greats.

1) David De Gea, Manchester United

After a tough start to life at Old Trafford the Spaniard has become perhaps the best number one in the country. His usual competitor far that title is Courtois, but he is no where to be seen here.
