Davies’ last game of proper football was for Solva FC, where he paid a £3 match fee for the privilege – having previously won over 50 caps for the Welsh national team!

Royston Drenthe

Drenthe wowed in Holland, encouraging Real Madrid to sign him up in 2007. He spent most of his five year stint with the club out on loan, and he’s now on a temporary deal from Reading at Sheffield Wednesday.
