4) Louis van Gaal to raid France in January

Manchester United are allegedly monitoring Monaco left-back Layvin Kurzawa. The 22-year-old has had a fantastic season so far, and looks to be a star in the making.

The Frenchman revealed his desire to make the switch to Old Trafford earlier in the year, and with United’s defensive crisis at the moment it may become a reality in January.

3) The return of Rojo

Louis van Gaal has received a huge boost with the news that Marcos Rojo has returned to full training following a dislocated shoulder.

The Argentine will still miss this weekend’s clash with Hull City, but he could be back for their match against Southampton on December 8th.

2) Luke Shaw update

Manchester United have suffered a new injury blow, with reports suggesting Luke Shaw could be out until the new year with his latest ankle injury.

The English teenager suffered the injury against Arsenal, and it was originally believed that he would be out for only a couple of weeks. The injury is worse than originally feared however, and he could now miss as much as six weeks of football.

The Dutchman has been linked with a host of moves recently, Louis van Gaal reportedly worried about his dip in form.

Roberto Mancini is interested in brining the former Arsenal man to Serie A, with the Inter manager hopeful of securing his man next summer for a fee somewhere in the region of £10m.

Mancini also tried to sign van Persie in 2012 for Manchester City, but he headed to Old Trafford instead.
