Mathieu Debuchy – C

Been injured since mid September but before being sidelined the French international has looked very solid.

The former Newcastle United man has looked menacing going forward and very solid at the back though Calum Chambers has grown well into the role and may perhaps challenge Debuchy for a starting spot when fully fit.

Alexis Sanchez – A+

Arguably the best Arsenal signing in a decade, the Chilean has been simply outstanding since moving from Barcelona to the Emirates Stadium this summer.

The free flowing attacker has immediately adapted to life in the English top tier with his life-wire displays which have seen the South American rack up 13 goals in 19 appearances in all competitiosn.

The 25 year old has added urgency and directness to the Arsenal attack and has shone even in a Gunners side that has struggled to impress this season.

Calum Chambers – A

Youngster has played in a variety of positions and been a hugely impressive figure wherever he’s been slotted in, proving invaluable as Arsene Wenger seeks to deal with a defensive injury crisis.

The teenager has been a virtual ever present, starting 16 fixtures, and the £16m paid to Southampton for his services is already looking like something of a bargain.

David Ospina – D

Colombian was brought in to challenge Wojciech Szczesny for the starting spot but in his one and only start to date he looked shaky to say the least.

Ospina made errors during Arsenal’s Capital One defeat to Southampton and it looks like Damien Martinez is already ahead of the former Nice man in the Gunners’ pecking order.

Danny Welbeck – B+

A deadline day capture the former Man United man has shown himself to be a solid signing with a few stand-out performances in Arsenal colours under his belt.

Welbeck has bagged a Champions League hat-trick and some good Premier League displays whilst also proving a good foil for Sanchez.

His regular first team action has been invaluable to his national team form to boot.
