Red Devils to lose out t Qatari side in pursuit of Trabzonspor forward Abdul Majeed Waris

The Ghana international has been watched by assistant manager Ryan Giggs in the past as the 13-time Premier League champions considered a bid.

However, it looks as if they could lose out as a £9.5m offer comes in from an unnamed Qatari club for Waris’ services.

Javier Hernandez seeking assurances over his United future

After falling out of favour at Old Trafford the striker moved to Real Madrid on-loan over the summer and has since done well in the Spanish capital.

However, Los Blancos have turned down the offer to sign Hernandez on a permanent contract and now the Mexican wants assurances when he returns to Manchester next May.

“I am not sure what will happen in the summer yet – but whatever happens I need guarantees. I am 26 now – in the summer I will be 27 – I must be at a club where I am going to be playing regularly,” the man known as ‘Chicharito’ was quoted by the Daily Mail.

The club are back on track says Michael Carrick

Following successive league victories over Arsenal and Hull City the midfielder thinks positive vibes are starting to creep back in at the Theatre of Dreams.

Man United are back in the top four and with Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie both finding form the 33-year-old thinks this could be the start of things to come.

“When you have Robin scoring and Wayne scoring and Falcao coming off the bench and nearly scoring, we’ll be a threat to anyone,” the England international was quoted by the Mirror.

Victor Valdes back training under van Gaal as Dutchman considers move

It seems as if the free transfer of Valdes to Old Trafford is back on as the goalkeeper returns to Carrington to train with the side.

Valdes had been working under form boss van Gaal as he continues his rehabilitation from a cruciate ligament injury and after a brief return to Spain he is back in England.

The 32-year-old is being lined up as a possible replacement for current No.1 David de Gea, who is being strongly linked with Madrid, according to the Daily Star.
