The Porto striker is one of the most in demand strikers in Europe right now, and he has fully admitted that he expects to be on the move at the end of the season.

Teams from Spain, Italy and Germany are all said to be keen on landing his signature, though he has expressed a desire to move to the Premier League after both Arsenal and Liverpool entered the race.

Porto have told the English duo that Martinez will command a £40million price-tag should he be sold, and reports today claim that Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino will now rival Arsene Wenger and Brendan Rodgers for the 28-year-old’s signature.

Spurs are in the market for new strikers as both Emmanuel Adebayor and Roberto Soldado have failed to impress over the last 18 months.
