GK) Damian Martinez – 5

Hard to blame the goalkeeper when he plays behind such a feeble defence.

LB) Kieran Gibbs – 4

Got forward well but let Walters cross far too easily for the Bojan goal.

CB) Calum Chambers – 2

The stupid red card he received late on was the worst part of a very bad day for the English centre-back.

CB) Per Mertesacker – 4

Watched as the ball looped over him to the feet of Bojan, who knocked in the second. What has happened to the German this season?

RB) Hector Bellerin – 3

Not so much “lost at sea” as much as “Lost in Space”. Taken off at half time.

CM) Mathieu Flamini – 4

Won a penalty, but was bypassed far too easily time and time again.

CM) Aaron Ramsey – 5

Far too weak for the majority of the game, scored a nice goal however.

AML) Alexis Sanchez – 5.5

Agonisingly hit the post after a brilliant mazy run, but can’t drag this team to wins every week.

AMC) Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain – 5

Created a few chances, but was at fault for the corner which lead to Stoke’s third goal.

AMR) Santi Cazorla – 5

Scored the penalty and had some decent late efforts.

ST) Olivier Giroud – 2

Contributed nothing in attack and repeatedly tried to get Stoke players booked in a very unsportsmanlike fashion. Danny Welbeck should expect to be back up front next game.
