Teenage Barcelona Sensation Munir El Haddadi Signs New Deal

Barcelona’s latest amazing youth product has committed his future to the club.

Munir El Haddadi has signed a new deal at Barcelona, according to the team’s official website.

His new deal will run until 2017, and has seen the youngsters €12m release clause raised to €35m.

The statement on the club website praised the 19-year-old’s key part in Barcelona’s “Juvenil A” team’s success in the UEFA Youth League last season.

He certainly made an impression against Benfica. in the final of that tournament, scoring an outrageous effort from the halfway line.

The Spanish youngster has had a breakthrough season, and has appeared 12 times for Barcelona this season, mainly as a substitute. He scored his first goal for the club on his debut against Elche back in August, but has not found the net again since.

The return of Luis Suarez from suspension has limited the youngsters game time in recent weeks.

He has also made his national team debut this season, against Macedonia in September. His new deal wraps up a 2014 that has seen an astonishing rise for the La Masia product.
