10) Edinson Cavani (Paris Saint Germain to Arsenal)
Arsenal simply don’t spend big in the January transfer window, and however many hints Cavani might drop about leaving PSG, we can’t see it happening until at least next summer – he is playing, he is scoring, why would the French giants sell him?

The 28-year-old has been with Madrid since 2005. He has played 300 league games and well over 400 matches in all competitions. He is a firm fan favourite and a highly decorated, successful star that embodies everything about the club. Why would he trade all that in unless Madrid wanted him to go?

Atletico Madrid’s captain and one of their most loyal stars – United would have to pay big to have any chance of securing his signature, and you have to imagine that money would be better spent on a younger model who would star at Old Trafford for years to come.
