See clips from Arsenal’s victory over Galatasaray in Turkey.
Arsenal started brightly as they looked to bounce back from last weekend’s dreadful loss to Stoke. With only a couple of minutes on the clock, Lukas Podolski was released down the left. The German forward burst into the box, steadied himself, and lashed in a trademark near-post power finish.
Arsenal added a third to wrap the game up before half-time, and it was some effort. Aaron Ramsey struck the ball just before it hit the ground, sending the ball arcing into the top corner. It was a quite stunning goal.
Arsenal made two changes at half-time, and were very much on the back foot in the second half, looking to pick Galatasaray off on the break. Wesley Sneijder was quiet throughout, but then from nowhere pulled out some of his old magic to net this amazing free-kick.
