Here are ten stoppers that have been linked with moves away from their current club’s in the upcoming window:

10) Mark Schwarzer (Chelsea)

Newcastle are reportedly preparing a shock bid for Chelsea’s third choice stopper, as they seek cover for the injured duo of Tim Krul and Rob Elliot (via the Daily Express).

9) Alex McCarthy (Queens Park Rangers)

The former Reading man has been unable to establish himself in the Rangers team, with Rob Green the preferred choice between the sticks. Liverpool have shown an interest in the past, and he could be available.

8) Timo Horn (FC Koln)

The German Under 21 international has been in impressive form for both club and country, and rumours have it that he could be available for as little as £5m in January (via the Daily Mirror).

7) Guillermo Ochoa (Malaga)

The Mexican World Cup star has only managed one cup appearance for his club side so far this season, encouraging reports that the former Liverpool target could become available for a second time in just six months (via the Liverpool Echo).

6) Kiko Casilla (Espanyol)

The one-time Spanish international has been consistently impressive for club side Espnayol this season, and reports claim that Liverpool could be interested in making an £8m move (via the Independent).

5) Victor Valdes (Free Agent)

Was originally courted by Liverpool, but the most recent rumours have him set for a switch to Manchester United. However, there is no official word yet on a destination for the former Barcelona man (via the Metro).

4) Neto (Fiorentina)

The Fiorentina stopper, who is also a Brazilian youth international, is yet another name to have been courted by Liverpool, with several reports claiming the Reds are preparing to make him a multi-million pound offer (via the Daily Star).

3) Iker Casillas (Real Madrid)

Linked with a multitude of team over the last 18 months, and could yet prove to be available if Real don’t settle on a decision over his future. Arsenal and Liverpool are among those interested (via the Independent).

2) Asmir Begovic (Stoke City)

Perhaps the least available player on this list, but Stoke would surely be forced to sell if a big offer came along. The Bosnian has been linked to both Liverpool and Real Madrid (via the Daily Mail).

1) Petr Cech (Chelsea)

Arguably still one of the best goalkeepers on the planet, but only Chelsea’s number two since the return of Thibaut Courtois. Liverpool were linked earlier this week, but face competition from Arsenal (via the Daily Mail).
