Roma GM Confirms They Have Had No Contact From Man United Over Kevin Strootman

Italian giants deny imminent move from Red Devils for midfield star.

Roma have quickly moved to distance themselves from rumours linking Dutch international midfielder Kevin Strootman with a January move to Manchester United after they admitted that they had not received any offers for his services, according to Sky Sports journalist Bryan Swanson.

The 24-year-old has only just made his return to the Roma side following a long term injury, but has remained a long time target for the Red Devils, who are once again being tipped to make a move for him in the new year.

With Roma now out of the Champions League, several media outlets are claiming the the door is now open for Louis Van Gaal’s side to make a bid, despite coach Rudi Garcia slapping a £100m price tag on the player.

However, Roma’s GM Mauro Baldissoni has distanced the club from those reports by claiming the they are yet to receive even an approach from United for Strootman’s services.
