GK) Petr Cech – 7

Had almost literally nothing to do, but didn’t lose focus, even when the ball was at the other end of the pitch for 15 minutes.

RB) Branislav Ivanovic – 7

Motored forward regularly, as per usual, and fired a powerful drive just over.

CB) John Terry – 8

Rock solid performance from the skipper after his mid-week break.

CB) Gary Cahill – 7

Played well, but could easily have been sent off for a danerous tackle in the first half.

LB Filipe Luis – 7

Offered more than Cesar Azipilicueta going forward. Was lucky to escape Tom Huddlestone’s challenge unscathed.

CM) Nemanja Matic – 7.5

Chelsea looked far better with the Serbian midfielder back in the side.

CM) Jon Obi Mikel – 6

There wasn’t much need for Mikel in the side with Matic already doing his job, and the Nigerian reminded everyone why he was replaced with a few sloppy passes.

AML) Eden Hazard – 9

Scored the first and assisted the second. Fantastic performance from the winger.

AMC) Oscar – 8

Put in a lot of work in a dire first half, and was given an ovation by the Stamford Bridge crowd when he was taken off.

AMR) Willian – 6

Another quiet game fr m the Brazilian, whose place is very much under threat from Andre Schurrle.

ST) Diego Costa – 6.5

Will be delighted to have scored after a short dry spell, but wasn’t on top form, and could have had a few more.
