Premier League predictions for the weekend
Courtois ruled out of Hull game

Burnley 1-1 Southampton

Burnley striker Danny Ings scored against the team who released him as a schoolboy, but Dusan Tadic ensured a point for the Saints with a late equaliser.

Chelsea 1-3 Hull City

A stunning result at Stamford Bridge, where Steve Bruce’s Hull City side took advantage of an early red card for Nemanja Matic to storm to victory, with Nikica Jelavis scoring twice and Alex Bruce adding another. Diego Costa’s goal was only minor resistance.

Crystal Palace 0-0 Stoke City

There is literally nothing to say. Speroni had to make one save.

Leicester City 0-4 Manchester City

A real battering in the East Midlands, where Edin Dzeko helped himself to a hat-trick against the struggling Foxes and Eliaquim Mangala bagged a rare goal from a set piece.

Sunderland 1-1 West Ham United

An entertaining draw at the Stadium of Light, where Diafra Sakho was able to equalise after Connor Wickham had given the hosts the lead.

West Bromwich Albion 1-0 Aston Villa

A West Midlands derby that was high on violence but low on quality was settled by a Chris Brunt free kick as both sides had a man sent off.

Arsenal 3-3 Newcastle United

A thrilling game at the Emirates Stadium saw the hosts come back from behind three times – and three times after Papiss Cisse had scored for Newcastle. Theo Walcott, Per Mertesacker and Aaron Ramsey got the Arsenal goals.

Manchester United 2-0 Liverpool

It was a routine win for United in a surprising low key local derby as Wayne Rooney and Radamel Falcao got the goals.

Swansea City 1-1 Tottenham Hotspur

Wilfried Bony managed to score at both ends as this one ended all square.

Everton 2-1 Queens Park Rangers

Everton were made to work for their three points against QPR at Goodison Park, but two goals from Romelu Lukaku either side of a Niko Kranjcar strike proved to be enough.
