GK) Peter Schmeichel

The former Manchester United man was one of the best keepers in the world in his time. It is no surprise that he makes it in to an all time XI.

LB) Roberto Carlos

Well known for his ability with the dead ball and his charging runs forward, the Brazilian won the Champions League on three occasions.

RB) Fabio Cannavaro

One of the only defensive players to have ever won the Ballon d’Or, the Italian is one of the greatest centre-backs to have ever played the game. However, he never played at right-back, so who knows what Hazard was thinking with this one.

CB) Laurent Blanc

The Frenchman was a classy defender and played for clubs such as Manchester United, Barcelona, and Inter Milan. He now manages PSG.

CB) Marcel Desailly

The one and only former Chelsea player in the team, but it is understandable why. Desailly was also part of the France team which won the World Cup in 1998.
