Chelsea star Eden Hazard has named his all time best XI, and it has a few surprises. The Belgian hasn’t named a single player from his home country, and he has also named three players who used to play for close rivals Arsenal.

The former Manchester United man was one of the best keepers in the world in his time. It is no surprise that he makes it in to an all time XI.

LB) Roberto Carlos

Well known for his ability with the dead ball and his charging runs forward, the Brazilian won the Champions League on three occasions.

RB) Fabio Cannavaro

One of the only defensive players to have ever won the Ballon d’Or, the Italian is one of the greatest centre-backs to have ever played the game. However, he never played at right-back, so who knows what Hazard was thinking with this one.

CB) Laurent Blanc

The Frenchman was a classy defender and played for clubs such as Manchester United, Barcelona, and Inter Milan. He now manages PSG.

CB) Marcel Desailly

The one and only former Chelsea player in the team,but it is understandable why. Desailly was also part of the France team which won the World Cup in 1998.

CM) Patrick Vieira

The first of three Arsenal invincibles in the side. The powerful midfielder also played for Juventus and Manchester City, where he now coaches the youth team.

CM) Pavel Nedved

One of the best players of his generation, the Czech was a legend at Juventus.

RM) Luis Figo

The Portuguese made the controversial move from Barcelona to Real Madrid during his time as a player. There was reason why Los Blancos were willing to buy him from their fierce rivals, with his brilliant dribbling and passing ability making it worth it.

LM) Robert Pires

The Frenchman was a key part of the “invincible” Arsenal team of 2003/04 season. Hazard makes the point that although he wasn’t the quickest, he was still a threat to opposing teams.

ST) Patrick Kluivert

The former Barcelona and Newcastle United man managed a brilliant 40 goals in 79 appearances for the Holland national team.

One of the most talented players to pull on an Arsenal shirt completes this Gunners influenced side.
