Footballers’ Faux Pas – Liverpool’s Balotelli And Manchester United Legend Feature Among The Biggest Social Media Fails

Samir Nasri

After being left out of the France squad ahead of the 2014 World Cup Nasri’s girlfriend Anara Atanes took to Instagram to hurl a torrent of abuse at Les Bleues manager Didier Deschamps.

Miss Atanes tweeted  ‘F*** France and f*** Deschamps!’, whilst the Manchester City midfielder himself got in trouble back in 2011 by dubbing Gunners fans ‘disrespectful’ after he had left for the Etihad Stadium.

Jonjo Shelvey

Lavezzi really should have been more careful when posting pictures online if he had heard of the case involving Swansea City midfielder Shelvey.

Whilst still at Liverpool the Englishman’s cheeky friends posted a picture of his penis onto his Twitter account. The account was deleted shortly afterwards.

Steven Taylor

For supreme levels of stupidity here is a tweet from Newcastle United defender Taylor, who also probably got away a little easy with this one.

The centre-back posted a picture of four black people and labeled them as teammates Papiss Cisse, Vurnon Anita, Massadio Haidara and Moussa Sissoko.

Wojciech Szczesny

Finally it’s the current Gunners No.1 who after a golf event said of teammate Aaron Ramsey; ‘I don’t wanna be rude mate but you look like a rapist on that picture! lol.’

Szczesny later apologised stating that he had gone too far.
