Arsenal Liverpool combined Premier League team

Manchester City 3-1 Crystal Palace

A comfortable win for the reigning champions at the Etihad Stadium, with Mile Jedinak’s penalty for the visitors offering little resistance to goals from Stevan Jovetic, Yaya Toure and Martin Demichelis.

Aston Villa 2-2 Manchester United

Aston Villa had striker Christian Benteke to thank as they came from behind to claim a point against Manchester United at Villa Park – goals from Adnan Januzaj and Radamel Falcao seemed to have put the game out of sight, but the Belgian pounced twice late on.

Hull City 1-2 Swansea City

Steve Bruce and Hull City are having a bad virtual season, which continued when they hosted Swansea City. Goals from Jefferson Montero and Wilfried Bony made the game safe before a late Nikola Jelavic consolation.

Queens Park Rangers 2-2 West Bromwich Albion

It was a weekend of goals in the virtual Premier League and that continued at Loftus Road. Charlie Austin gave the hosts the lead before two Chris Brunt goals appeared to have won it – but the unlikely form of Mauricio Isla rescued a point.

Southampton 1-1 Everton

Honours even in an entertaining game at St. Mary’s, where Muhamed Besic gave the visitors the lead before Southampton blew down the door and got their equaliser through Dusan Tadic from the spot.

Tottenham Hotspur 3-2 Burnley

Goals, goals, goals. Roberto Soldado hit twice early on to give Spurs the advantage, but Danny Ings pulled one back. Mousa Dembele appeared to make things safe, but Kieran Trippier made it interesting in injury time.

West Ham United 3-3 Leicester City

Told you, so many goals. Jamie Vardy was the star of the show at Upton Park as Jamie Vardy scored a hat-trick for the visitors, but each time West Ham leveled – Enner Valencia, Mark Noble and Andy Carroll on the scoresheet.

Newcastle United 1-1 Sunderland

Unsurprisingly tempestuous goings on at St. James’ Park for the North East derby. Cheik Tiote gave the Magpies before the lead but got himself sent off, John O’Shea was dismissed for Sunderland but they poached a point through Adam Johnson.

Liverpool 1-1 Arsenal

Honours even at the Emirates Stadium in a game of few chances. Alexis Sanchez gave the visitors the lead early on and they nearly held on, but Raheem Sterling pinched a point late on.

Stoke City 1-3 Chelsea

A routine win for Chelsea in the Potteries, where Eden Hazard ran riot against Mark Hughes’ virtually struggling outfit. He scored two and created one for Diego Costa before a Robert Huth header late on.
