Chelsea 3-1 West Ham United

Chelsea’s record in London derbies this season is flawless. It is made up of wins over Arsenal, Spurs, Crystal Palace and QPR. West Ham last won at Chelsea in 2002 – that stat won’t change anytime soon.

Burnley 1-2 Liverpool

After a slow start in the Premier League, Burnley’s forwards have finally found a bit of form. The Clarets have scored in six of their last seven matches. They will probably find the net again, as Liverpool’s defence is truly awful. However, the Reds should have just enough class to edge this one.

Crystal Palace 0-2 Southampton

After suffering five consecutive defeats, Southampton got back on track last weekend by thumping Everton 3-0. The Saints love playing Palace – they have won their last four games against them without conceding a single goal.

Everton 1-2 Stoke City

Despite losing 2-0, Stoke impressed a lot of people against Chelsea on Monday night. The Potters have become a very dangerous team this season – they have already beaten Spurs, Arsenal and Man City. If Everton are not on top form, their name could well be added to that list.

Leicester 1-3 Tottenham Hotspur

Things are looking up for Spurs. Mauricio Pochettino finally seems to know what his best team is and, if midfielder Ryan Mason passes a late fitness test, the former Southampton boss should be able to name his first choice XI against Leicester, who have taken just two points from their last 36 available.

Manchester United 3-1 Newcastle

These two teams only know how to defend – both sides have awful defences. It should be fun to watch, but the Red Devils will probably win comfortably because their attack is vastly superior, as is their goalkeeper.

Sunderland 2-0 Hull City

Hull come into this game low on confidence, having failed to win in their last ten games. Meanwhile, Sunderland’s players will be flying high following their morale-boosting victory over Newcastle.

Swansea City 3-0 Aston Villa

Despite losing their last home game 2-1 to Spurs, Swansea are generally excellent on Welsh soil. Meanwhile, Villa, who lost this fixture 4-1 in April, have not won at Swansea since 1971.

West Bromwich Albion 0-2 Manchester City

City are likely to face West Brom without a striker, but they proved that they don’t need forwards in their last game – a 3-0 cruise against Crystal Palace.

Arsenal 6-0 Queens Park Rangers

QPR are truly hopeless away from home. The Hoops have lost all eight league games on the road this season. Arsenal’s recent form has been far from stunning, but they are brilliant going forward and will be desperate to give their fans some festive cheer. An early goal could well open the floodgates at the Emirates.
