Brad Jones – 5/10

Had to be taken off for being hurt by his own blunder.

Kolo Toure – 5/10

Lasted only marginally longer and was taken off at the half.

Martin Skrtel – 6/10

Made no serious errors, but was the weaker of the two centre-backs.

Mamadou Sakho – 7/10

One of the bright sparks from the afternoon.

Lucas – 6/10

Gave away too many fouls, and didn’t reach the highs of previous weeks.

Jordan Henderson – 6/10

Kept things ticking over nicely, but nowhere near as influential as he could have been.

Steven Gerrard – 6/10

Still looking slightly off pace. Not what the team needs right now.

Lazar Markovic – 6/10

Better than he has been, seems to be finally getting to grips with the pace of the league.

Philippe Coutinho – 7/10

Looked dangerous at times, but perhaps could have done more.

Adam Lallana – 6/10

Another who didn’t meet the standards he’d set himself in the recent games.

Raheem Sterling – 8/10

His goal saved the day as he featured in an unconventional false nine role.

Subs:
Simon Mignolet – 5/10 Didn’t concede, but still peppers his game with silly mistakes.
Emre Can – 6/10 Came on for Toure at the half, protected back line well.
Rickie Lambert – 5/10 Should be scoring against teams like Burnley.
