Here’s how we rated the Tottenham players following Spurs’ 0-0 draw with third-placed Manchester United this Sunday…

GK) Hugo Lloris – 8

Superb from the Frenchman. Kept his side in the game with wonderful stops from Robin van Persie and Ashley Young – and distributed the ball very well, too.

DR) Vlad Chiriches – 6

Tidy in possession in an unnatural right-back role. Didn’t too much wrong, but could still leave in January.

DL) Ben Davies – 5

Positioned himself poorly on more than one occasion, but got away with it, ultimately.

DC) Jan Vertonghen – 7

Won the battle with Dutchman van Persie, starting up top for United. Very classy.

DC) Federico Fazio – 6

Aerially excellent, as per usual – but his inability to track runners almost cost his side.

DMC) Benjamin Stambouli – 5

Clumsy on the ball, and booked for a rash challenge. Technically, the Frenchman is far from outstanding.

DMC) Ryan Mason – 6

Worked hard like the rest of the Tottenham side, but didn’t provide any moments of genuine quality.

AMR) Andros Townsend – 7

Almost scored with a fizzing right-footed shot from range in the second half, and his pace caused United problems on the break.

AMC) Christian Eriksen – 6

Had a free-kick saved, and improved as the game went on despite a sluggish start. His set-piece delivery was typically strong.

AML) Nacer Chadli – 6

Some nice dribbles, but an overall lack of quality end product.

FC) Harry Kane – 7

Worked tirelessly up top, but fluffed his one clear-cut chance.
