La Liga star tweets that he’s agreed England move.
Sevilla midfielder and rumoured Arsenal target Grzegorz Krychowiak has tweeted that he will be joining a Premier League club in the January transfer window, the Daily Express reports.
However, it seems that the claim was a prank played in the spirit of Spain’s April Fool’s Day equivalent, which falls on the 28th of December every year.
The Polish international only joined Sevilla this summer and has been in fine form for the La Liga side, attracting rumours of interest from Arsenal ahead of January.
However, despite tweeting that he’d agreed a move to England, Krychowiak later confirmed that he was only joking and that he is very happy with life in Spain this season.
Elsewhere, Arsenal’s search for a midfielder may take them to Sporting Lisbon starlet William Carvalho, with speculation hotting up that he could join the Gunners in a £20m move this winter.
