Manchester United make official approach to sign Stromsgodset wonderkid Martin Odegaard
After visiting Old Trafford earlier in the year Odegaard could well be tempted to make a permanent move to join the Red Devils.
According to the Daily Express the club have made an official approach for the 16-year-old, who has been drawing plenty of attention this year.
Odegaard has been touted by several other clubs including FC Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Manchester City and Real Madrid.

United hoping to tempt Madrid star Sergio Ramos with offer of £105,000-a-week after tax
Louis van Gaal is looking to strengthen his defensive options next summer and has identified Ramos as a No.1 target, according to the Daily Star.
The Spain international is stalling over a new contract with current club Los Blancos and the 13-time Premier League champions are hoping to swoop in.
They will face strong competition from Arsenal and Chelsea however, with Arsene Wenger reported to have met with Ramos’ brother and agent Rene.

The striker is currently on-loan at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu, but has failed to make an impact and Milan are looking for a replacement for Chelsea loanee Fernando Torres – who looks set to join former side Atletico Madrid.
Therefore Filippo Inzaghi would probably welcome Hernandez at the San Siro, whilst van Gaal gets an international centre-back to bolster his back line.
