Lennon has been deemed surplus to requirements at White Heart Lane this season, and he could be the first name on the chopping block as manager Mauricio Pochettino looks to shake up his squad during the January transfer window.

QPR had tried to bring Lennon in over the summer, while West Brom, Leicester and West Ham are also watching developments.

But it is believed Mark Hughes is at the front of the queue for the former England winger and is hopeful he can bring the winger to Stoke.

Reports suggest that it would take a bid of around £6m to prize the England international away from the north London side.

Spurs are also ready to listen to offers for Paulinho, Emmanuel Adebayor and Roberto Soldado to help finance signings and freshen up the squad.
