The Costa Rican forward enjoyed a fantastic World Cup in Brazil last summer, and looked excellent during a loan spell at Olympiacos the previous season. He is yet to really make an impact at Arsenal however, and has struggled to break into the first team at the Emirates.

Arsene Wenger is apparently ready to send the 22-year-old back out on loan this January, with a host of clubs chasing his signature.

Spanish duo Villareal and Real Sociedad are amongst the front runners, with both teams looking to sign the talented youngster on a short term deal.

Arsenal are fairly well stocked with forwards this season, and Campbell has had to compete with a number of players for a starting berth. With Lukas Podolski having joined Inter Milan on loan however, as well as Yaya Sanogo’s potential exit from the club, Wenger may find his side stretched a little thin if he doesn’t bring some new faces in.
