The 22 year old Egyptian has barely featured this term and may be a player Mourinho would consider sending out for some much needed Premier League experience.

Redknapp is looking to strengthen his squad this month as he seeks to avoid a second relegation in three seasons and Salah undoubtedly has the ability to help offer QPR a cutting edge up front.

Chelsea paid FC Basel £11m for Salah last January and though in the 2013/14 season he did make something of an impact with a number of cameo displays the cultured wide-man hasn’t even started a Premier League fixture in the current campaign.

Salah is behind the likes of Eden Hazard, Willian and Andre Schurrle in the Stamford Bridge pecking order and could well be up for a loan switch.

If Mourinho were to consider a temporary exit for Salah then a move to QPR would clearly be a good fit as it would be easier to keep a track of his progress at Chelsea’s fellow West London side.
