Spurs head coach Mauricio Pochettino rested several key men during Monday’s 1-1 draw with Burnley in the FA Cup.

The former Southampton boss is expected to bring his big hitters back for the trip to Selhurst Park.

Here’s how we expect Spurs to line-up:

GK: Hugo Lloris

Rested at Burnley, but Lloris has not missed a minute of Premier League action this season, so he will start.

RB: Kyle Walker

Pochettino’s decision to leave Walker out of the squad entirely for the game at Burnley made perfect sense. After all, the England international only returned from a nine-month injury lay-off in December. Fresh from his latest mini-break, Walker is expected to fill Tottenham’s right-back slot against Palace. Pochettino is, understandably, reluctant to play error-machine Vlad Chiriches in the league, while new signing DeAndre Yedlin is not yet in contention, despite training with the first team this week.

LB: Ben Davies

Davies was one of Tottenham’s better performers on Monday, but Danny Rose deserves to play, considering how well he performed against Chelsea.

CBs: Federico Fazio and Jan Vertonghen

Pochettino has partnered Fazio and Vertonghen in Tottenham’s last 11 domestic games.

CM: Mousa Dembele

Nabil Bentaleb and Ryan Mason are Pochettino’s first choice midfield pairing, but both players are unavailable – Bentaleb is on international duty, while Mason has hamstring issues. Dembele is next in the pecking order.

CM: Benjamin Stambouli

Paulinho, who played the full 90 at Burnley, is one option to partner Dembele, but the Brazilian has yet to start a league game under Pochettino. Stambouli started against Manchester United and he also replaced Mason when the tenacious Englishman picked up an early injury against Chelsea.

AM: Andros Townsend

Townsend has come in out of the cold in recent weeks. After starting just one of Tottenham’s first 18 league games, he was included in the first XI against Manchester United and Chelsea.

AM: Christian Eriksen

Eriksen remained on the pitch throughout Monday’s draw at Burnley. That surprised a few people, who thought the Dane may have been rested to keep him fresh. One theory behind his inclusion in that game is that Pochettino is trying to increase Eriksen’s stamina by giving him a tough workload. He should remain in the starting XI.

AM: Nacer Chadli

Chadli is Tottenham’s unsung hero. He is not particularly fashionable, but he has scored nine goals already this season, including two in his last two outings.

ST: Harry Kane

After he destroyed John Terry and Gary Cahill on New Year’s Day, there is no way Kane will not start against Palace. The 21-year-old is so important to Spurs right now. Pochettino rested Kane at Burnley, but he could not help himself bringing him on at half time, following a disappointing opening 45 minutes.
