GK) Jack Butland (Stoke City)

An England international, but still very much second choice at Stoke behind Asmir Begovic. There are plenty of teams who could do with a goalkeeper of Butland’s quality – just look at the problems Liverpool are enduring.

RB) Jon Flanagan (Liverpool)

Still awaiting his return from injury, and might find it hard to reclaim his spot in Liverpool’s new-look 3-4-3 formation, with Jordan Henderson and Javier Manquillo rotating on the right, and Glen Johnson still to come back.

CB) Nathan Ake (Chelsea)

Has shown glimpses of his quality during his brief Chelsea cameos, and with plenty of cover in both defence and midfield at Stamford Bridge, he could prove a useful and versatile signing for a lower mid-table team.

CB) Vlad Chiriches (Tottenham Hotspur)

A surprise inclusion perhaps, but Chiriches has struggled to hold down a first team spot, and the arrival of Federico Fazio means that his chances are going to be even harder to come by. Could aid a team battling relegation.

LB) Benoit Assou-Ekotto (Tottenham Hotspur)

The forgotten man at White Hart Lane, but it’s worth remembering he’s a full international with plenty of Premier League experience. If you’re in need of a new left back this January, why not take a chance on the Cameroon star.

RM) Aaron Lennon (Tottenham Hotspur)

Our third and final inclusion from a packed Tottenham squad in need of a clear-out. The once regular England international has endured a difficult start to the season, with his appearances few and far between.

CM) Suso (Liverpool)

His Liverpool career looks to be coming to an end, and he could well be up for grabs in the January transfer window ahead of a permanent move in the summer. A foreign move might be his preference, but could he take a loan elsewhere.

CM) Adnan Januzaj (Manchester United)

One of the most talented young players in European football, but the Belgian has found first-team opportunities hard to come by under Louis van Gaal. Would be a regular at many other teams, and might push through a move.

LM) Mohamed Salah (Chelsea)

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has attempted to rule out the winger departing Stamford Bridge this winter, but the player could force through a move as he looks for more first team opportunities.

ST) Joel Campbell (Arsenal)

Has recently signed a new contract with the Gunners, but looks likely to leave on loan yet again this winter, after struggling to hold down a first team place. Plenty of potential, and will find interest easy to come by.

ST) Yaya Sanogo (Arsenal)

The Gunners star has shown flashes of his talent so far this season, but injuries have seen his first team opportunities restricted. The French striker could be a big hit at another Premier League club.
