Wilfried Bony, Swansea City to Manchester City

Negotiations for the Ivorian went on throughout the last week, and with an offer now accepted it won’t be long before the striker is at the Etihad. However, he will not be able to play for the Citizens until after the end of the African Cup of Nations.

Matija Nastasic, Manchester City to Schalke 04

Bild have reported that the deal to sign the centre-back is finally close to completion. The Serbian is going to move on loan at first, with the option of a permanent transfer later on.

Oussama Assaidi, Liverpool to Al-Ahli

The Reds look likely to sell the Moroccan, and in the process make a tidy profit on his original transfer. Having struggled for game time on loan at Stoke City this campaign, he looks like imminently signing for Dubai-based side Al-Ahli for £4.7 million. This is almost double the £2.4 million the Anfield based club paid for him.

Aymeric Laporte, Athletic Bilbao to Manchester United

The Red Devils are on the lookout for someone to shore up their leaky defence, and Laporte could be the man. The Frenchman’s deal is 80% done according to the Daily Star, which means it could well be done within the next seven days.

David Marshall, Cardiff City to Everton

Since Tim Howard sustained an injury, the Toffees have been on the lookout for a new goalkeeper. They may have found their man in Scotland international David Marshall, with a move needed quickly in order to shore the Blues up between the sticks.

Norberto Neto, Fiorentina to Liverpool

Brendan Rodgers is another who needs a stopper, and Brazilian ace Neto has been strongly linked. He also needs a transfer quickly to help the position, and also in order to fight off competition from Juventus.
