Everton travel to Upton Park to face against West Ham in a replay of the match that they played last Tuesday. The first game was drawn 1-1, with Romelu Lukaku grabbing an injury time equaliser for the Toffees to take it back to the Hammers’ back yard. James Collins had got the goal for Sam Allardyce’s side earlier in the second half.

The Merseyside club will be missing Tim Howard, Sylvain Distin, Tony Hibbert, Leon Osman, Darron Gibson, Steven Pienaar, and James McCarthy for the encounter, as all seven are carrying injuries. Manager Roberto Martinez has already made it clear that he will be including academy product Conor McAleny in his matchday squad.

Meanwhile Sam Allardyce has far less in the way of fitness problems to deal with. Diafra Sakho is out because of a back problem, and there are no other fitness issues. However, they will be missing Cheikhou Kouyate due to the African Cup of Nations, and Ravel Morrison as his future at the club becomes more and more unclear.

Both teams may have to rotate their teams having played on the weekend. Both sides drew 1-1 in their matches, Everton at home to Manchester City and West Ham away at Swansea City.
