Former Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner turned 26 on Friday.
Bendtner, who now plays for VfL Wolfsburg after ending his Gunners nightmare this summer, got a birthday treat.
The Danish striker’s treat was that he and his teammates, including former Chelsea midfielder Kevin de Bruyne, found a tortoise during a training session.
Bendtner and De Bruyne both seemed pleased to see the tortoise, but striker Bas Dost was beside himself with delight.
“I have never seen Bassi so excited,” wrote Bendtner in a message to accompany the below photo on Instagram.
“He insisted we all had to take a picture with this turtle. It’s the first time he saw one.. Look at his smile when he touches it. Priceless!”
