Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has denied that out of form striker Mario Balotelli will not be moved on this season and that he, and the rest of the club, will help the Italian international rediscover his goal scoring touch.

Having arrived for £16m over the summer, the temperamental hit man has failed to find the net in the Premier League yet, thus prompting some heavy speculation about where his future lies.

But Rodgers told reporters at a press conference on Friday morning that he has no plans to move the former Man City striker on in January.

He also stated that the club will do everything in their power to help him find his best goalscoring form once again.
