The 18-year-old is a highly regarded prospect, who initially came through the youth ranks at Barcelona before making the move to Roma last season.

Already a full international for Paraguay, Sanabria looks like having the qualities to be a great prospect for the future, and could opt to continue his development at the Emirates Stadium after limited opportunities at the Stadio Olimpico.

Arsenal are known for handing plenty of playing time to talented young players, and already look to have secured the signing of 17-year-old Polish wonderkid from Legia Warsaw this January.

Sanabria could be the next name on the Gunners’ agenda, while Arsene Wenger has also shown some interest in another striker on the books at Roma, Mattia Destro, in a bid to bolster his options upfront.
