Manchester United transfer news

The Gunners brought in attacking duo Alexis Sanchez and Danny Welbeck this summer, spending around £46m on the two of them, but the latter has failed to impress so far in his time at the Emirates Stadium.

Two exciting striker targets may now become available, it is believed, and that could spark Arsene Wenger into life in the transfer market as he lines up moves for at least one of these two goal machines…

1) Edinson Cavani (Paris Saint-Germain)

Valued at around £45m by his club, Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani remains a world class talent despite some patchy form during his time in the French capital. Arsenal have been linked with the Uruguayan hot-shot in the past, and he is on their radar again as manager Laurent Blanc has hinted he could be set to sell some players in the near future.

2) Radamel Falcao (Manchester United)

In another surprise move, Arsenal are also mentioned as possible contenders to sign Manchester United misfit Radamel Falcao, who has failed to settle at Old Trafford during his season-long loan from Ligue 1 giants AS Monaco. Liverpool and Manchester City are also interested in the Colombian international, who has previously been regarded as one of the best players in the world in his position.
