The Argentine has seen his White Hart Lane side steady the ship of late after a topsy-turvy opening months of the campaign and it appears the former Southampton manager has had enough time to run the rule over his Spurs squad and will look to cash in on those he deems surplus to requirements.

One player who looks close to leaving north London is full-back Kyle Naughton who is set to join Swansea City in a £5m deal, Liberty Stadium boss Garry Monk no doubt keen to spend the funds accrued from the sale of Wilfried Bony to Man City.

Flop forward Roberto Soldado is surprisingly a target of Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund whilst fellow striker Emmanuel Adebayor is fielding multiple offers.

Central midfielders Etienne Capoue and Paulinho are also apparently on Pochettino’s exit bound complement, this despite the fact the Frenchman has played a fair bit thus far this term.

Brazilian Paulinho doesn’t appear to be part of Pochettino’s plan, the World Cup star yet to start a Premier League fixture under the Tottenham manager.

Winger Aaron Lennon is another who has struggled for first team action and is also up for sale whilst full-back Benoit Assou-Ekotto is available on a free transfer.

Perhaps the most surprising member of the eight-man list referenced by this source is Belgian Nacer Chadli.

Pochettino has set his sights on a number of new additions, including Everton star Kevin Mirallas, Sporting Lisbon ace Islam Slimani and Aston Villa midfielder Fabian Delph.
