Following the signing of free agent Victor Valdes earlier in the month, Amos has fallen further down he pecking order at Old Trafford and the chances of him getting any first team action look very slim.

The Englishman is now behind Valdes, David de Gea and Anders Lindegaard for a place in Louis van Gaal’s starting XI and would probably welcome a move away himself having failed to establish himself at United.

This is despite the fact that several media sources – including the Telegraph – having strongly linked de Gea with an exit from the Red Devils and a return to his home nation with Real Madrid.

Even then Amos would still have Valdes and Lindegaard ahead of him and van Gaal will not stand in the 24-year-old’s way should a team come in for his services.

The ‘keeper is a product of the Man United youth system and has previously spent time on-loan with Peterborough United, Molde, Oldham Athletic, Hull City and Carlisle United – although has only ever made seven first team appearances for his boyhood club.
