13. Thibaut Courtois – 8

Man of the Match performance from the goalkeeper as he made great saves to deny both Alberto Moreno and Philippe Coutinho to keep his side in it.

2. Branislav Ivanovic – 7

Was in the right place at the right time as he so often is to power home a header and send his team to Wembley.

5. Kurt Zouma – 5

Was lucky not to get himself in more trouble as the 20-year-old looked a far inferior alternative to Gary Cahill.

26. John Terry – 6

Solid as always and dealt with the pace of Raheem Sterling well.

3. Filipe Luis (Azpilicueta, 78′) – 6

Looked good defensively, but perhaps could have been more effective going forward.

4. Cesc Fabregas (Ramires, 50′) – 6

Looked good in the middle of the park before hiS night was ended early following a clash with Terry.

21. Nemanja Matic – 5

An unusually poor game from the Serbian who was overrun by the Reds in midfield.

22. Willian (Drogba, 119′) – 6

Perhaps could have been more of a presence in the final third of the pitch.

8. Oscar – 7

Looked good in the No.10 role and powered forward well into the opposition box.

10. Eden Hazard – 8

As always the Belgium international was a live-wire and constantly caused problems and almost scored with a strong effort.

19. Diego Costa – 8

Stealing the headlines once again the striker looked to stamp on both Emre Can and Martin Skrtel and almost scored twice, but was denied by an in-form Simon Mignolet.

Substitutes:

7. Ramires – 6

In a fast paced game the Brazilian flourished and looked good in the middle.

28. Cesar Azpilicueta – 6

Was a solid replacement for Filipe.

11. Didier Drogba – N/A

Had little time to make an impression after coming on with a minute to go.
