Ronaldinho’s trainer has previously declared that the ex-Barcelona star doesn’t perform the same exercises because he doesn’t find any fun in running. “He goes to the gym, does some weight lifting and works on his speed, sprints and jumps but there are some things he doesn’t enjoy so he doesn’t do them” explained Bassagaisteguy.

In Queretaro they believe players like Ronaldinho should be offered special treatment, so they allow him to do only the things he feels content with. The former Milan star has a sand pitch at home where he plays three or four hours everyday.

Ronaldinho makes approximately $2 million a year with the Mexican team, and so far the Queretaro fans have not been able to see the Brazilian playing this season. But according to the manager Ignacio Ambriz, Rona will be on the bench for the next game against Santos Laguna.
