Here are the Manchester United ratings for their 3-1 win over Leicester City in the Premier League…

GK) David de Gea – 6.5

A solid performance, but had very little to do. He should have done better with Leicester’s one shot on target, which resulted in a goal.

RB) Antonio Valencia – 5.0

A really poor performance from the make-shift right-back, whose decision making was poor all afternoon.

CB) Marcos Rojo – 7.5

A really solid performance, easily Manchester United’s best defender at the moment.

CB) Phil Jones – 6.0

Jones isn’t looking confident at the moment, and was bailed out by de Gea after a short back pass.

LB) Luke Shaw – 6.5

A quiet afternoon from the left-back.

DM) Daley Blind – 8.0

A really solid performance from the Dutchman. Calm, composed, and shielded the defence well. Even chipped in with an assist.

LM) Angel di Maria – 7.0

A decent performance, but was lacking the final ball.

RM) Adnan Januzaj – 7.5

An excellent game from the youngster, who was a constant threat on both wings and from midfield.

CAM) Wayne Rooney – 6.0

A surprisingly poor afternoon from the captain, whose passing was just not on point.

ST) Robin van Persie – 7.0

Scored the first goal, but was extremely lucky not to be given offside. Was solid, but not exceptional.

ST) Radamel Falcao – 7.5

The Colombian seems to be finding some form, and was there to pick up the pieces after Mark Schwarzer saved di Maria’s effort.

Substitute) Paddy McNair – 4.5

Was only on the pitch for a short time, but was involved in the mix-up that led to the goal.

Substitute) James Wilson – 6.0

A cameo appearance up front.

SubstituteJuan Mata – 6.5

A brief appearance, but a solid one.
