1) Morgan Schneiderlin (Southampton)
One of the top defensive midfield players in the Premier League this season, Southampton’s Morgan Schneiderlin is a £25m target for Arsenal and has been on Wenger’s radar for some time.

2) Christoph Kramer (Borussia Monchengladbach)
Another option being considered is £30m-rated Borussia Monchengladbach star Christoph Kramer, who could be sold by parent club Bayer Leverkusen in the summer. Real Madrid are also said to be interested.
3) Ilkay Gundogan (Borussia Dortmund)
Despite some recent injury problems, Ilkay Gundogan remains a top midfield player and one who could leave Borussia Dortmund if the right offer comes along, with Arsenal linked with a £16m bid.
