News has broken today that Arsenal have received a huge boost in their efforts to sign two midfield players worth roughly £35m, with Arsene Wenger ready to spend big again next summer to keep improving this Gunners side.

Big names such as Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez have both joined the club in recent times, and these two additions would represent more ambitious business if they can pull it off.

Goalkeeper and defence:

With the defence likely to stay the same after Gabriel was signed to add depth this January, only a new goalkeeper seems a possible change, though no targets stand out for the Gunners at the moment.

Midfield:

It is claimed that a deal is already in place for Arsenal to sign Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin for next season, and the Frenchman could be the ideal answer to their defensive midfield issues, with Santi Cazorla perhaps moving deeper to partner him.

Attack:

With Marco Reus supposedly keen to work with Arsene Wenger, it could be that Arsenal will fight off a number of Europe’s top clubs for this superb signing, who could line up in a star-studded attack alongside Alexis Sanchez, Olivier Giroud and fellow countryman Mesut Ozil.
