Manager Brendan Rodgers is expected to name a very strong side against Bolton. Here’s how we reckon the Reds will line-up:

GK: Simon Mignolet

With Brad Jones still injured, Mignolet is the only senior goalkeeper at Liverpool. The Belgian has done ok in recent weeks, keeping four clean sheets in his last six games.

CBs: Emre Can, Martin Skrtel and Mamadou Sakho

Rodgers prefers a back three these days and Can is set to continue in defence despite some mixed displays of late.

RWB: Lazar Markovic

Markovic is not a natural right wing-back, but he works hard and is a genuine attacking threat.

LWB: Alberto Moreno

Jose Enrique started in the first match against Bolton, only to be hauled off at half-time. Moreno is the better player, so Rodgers should go with him tonight.

DM: Jordan Henderson

Henderson will be one of the first names on Rodgers’ teamsheet.

DM: Lucas Leiva

Lucas is a key cog in Liverpool’s 3-4-2-1 system. The Reds have won eight of 12 Premier League matches in which the Brazilian has started this season and just three of 11 when he has not.

AM: Steven Gerrard

Captain Gerrard is fit to make his 700th Reds appearance, having being rested against West Ham at the weekend with a tight hamstring.

AM: Philippe Coutinho

Coutinho will be keen to show Liverpool fans that he is worth the improved contract he just signed.

ST: Raheem Sterling

Daniel Sturridge is likely to start on the bench, leaving Sterling to continue up front.
