Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 Arsenal

Both sides are in good form, so this should be close. However, I have to give Spurs the edge because of home advantage, plus the fact that they have local boys Harry Kane and Ryan Mason, who will be extra motivated to put one over Arsenal. Furthermore, the absence of Alexis Sanchez will hurt the Gunners.

Aston Villa 0-4 Chelsea

Saturday sees England’s best team visit a side who have not scored a goal in more than six league matches. This should be a cruise for Jose Mourinho’s Blues.

Leicester City 1-2 Crystal Palace

Buoyed by a host of new signings making their debuts, the Eagles should have just enough to record a fourth consecutive away win.

Manchester City 2-0 Hull City

Hull have failed to score in four of their five games this year. Man City are also going through a rough patch, having lost their last two home matches – to Arsenal and Middlesbrough. Nevertheless, form in temporary and class is permanent, so this will be a home win.

Queens Park Rangers 0-2 Southampton

QPR have lost four on the spin and the departure of manager Harry Redknapp will have only thickened the black clouds above Loftus Road. Southampton won 2-1 when these sides met earlier this season. The Saints should complete a double over the Hoops on Saturday.

Swansea City 3-1 Sunderland

The Swans are unbeaten in their last five games against the Black Cats, who traditionally don’t travel very well.

Everton 1-3 Liverpool

Nine Merseyside derbies have passed since Everton’s last win over their local rivals. Liverpool’s recent form is much better than the Toffees’. The hosts will have to perform out of their skins if they are to deny Steven Gerrard’s team a win on the skipper last appearance at Goodison Park.

Burnley 1-1 West Bromwich Albion

This is a huge game for Burnley, who will see it as an excellent opportunity to claim a much-needed three points. However, Tony Pulis’s Baggies will have other ideas. This could be tight and tense, and I reckon it’ll end all square.

Newcastle United 1-2 Stoke City

Stoke have an opportunity to record a fourth consecutive win in all competitions. The Potters have not won four in a row since their promotion to the Premier League in 2008, but I fancy them to win at St James’ Park.

West Ham United 2-1 Manchester United

West Ham’s home record in the Premier League this season is very impressive – seven wins and two draws in 12 games. Manchester City and Liverpool have both lost at Upton Park and the Red Devils could easily follow suit.
