1) Daniel Levy wouldn’t be stupid enough to sell to Chelsea

The White Hart Lane chairman is known for being adept at holding on to top talents for as long as possible but has of course relented with regards to the sales of Tottenham’s top talents. A sale to Chelsea however would not go down well at all. Therefore if, or should that be when, Kane leaves one imagines it’s Real Madrid or Man United who will secure the forward.

2) Champions League ambitions

Tottenham are of course fighting for a top four finish but should they fail to secure a Champions League berth, and remember Mauricio Pochettino may achieve this via a Europa League triumph, then Kane’s future at the north London club will be vulnerable to say the least.

3) Gareth Bale…Luka Modric….

Spanish giants Real Madrid have a penchant for Spurs signings and the aforementioned pair have both been big successes, what odds Kane completes the hat-trick?

4) Money money money

Kane is apparently set for a bumper new Tottenham contract but whatever wage Levy manages to secure for the youngster, even if he were to become one of the club’s top earners, he can no doubt double or even treble it elsewhere….

5) Loyalty

Let’s be honest the notion of loyalty in the game has all but vanished. One club men are few and far between and tend to only represent sides who are challenging, and succeeding, in pushes for major honours.

Tottenham are not such a club…

Also, Kane is apparently an Arsenal fan and that may well make it easier for him to flee….
