Manchester United’s £37.1m Ace States That Burnley Game Is “Must Win”

Manchester United remain in obscure form despite retaining top four position..

Manchester United playmaker Juan Mata has revealed that the game against Burnley on Wednesday has become a “must win” due to the intense competition between the clubs competing the top four positions.

The Red Devils remain in fourth place in the Premier League despite dropping two points against West Ham United in a game where they were second best for most of the encounter.

However, Mata is now looking forward to the next fixture having not featured in the match at the Boleyn Ground as Louis van Gaal’s men lacked the creative spark the Spaniard can provide.

Louis Van Gaal Not Getting The Best Out Of Manchester United, Says Ex-Arsenal Striker

“Before that we play at home against Burnley and we must win this one because the race for the Champions League spots is now very close,” Mata wrote on his personal blog.

“We have to get the three points at home, we know that, and that’s what we are working for. I’m sure we will make it with our people’s help.”

Man United attempted a number of long balls to Marouane Fellaini, a feature of their game which has confused many as to what van Gaal’s much professed ‘philospohy’ exactly entails.

Mata will be hoping for his team to take advantage of the more favourable fixtures, before what looks like a very tough month of March.
