GK – Simon Mignolet – 5/10
The Reds stopper could have reacted better for both of Spurs’ goals.
LCB – Mamadou Sakho – 5/10
One of Sakho’s poorer performances in a Liverpool shirt with unnecessary fouls and allowed Harry Kane the opening for the first goal far too easily.
CB – Martin Skrtel – 6/10
Struggled to contain the in-form Tottenham striker, receiving a yellow-card for tripping the 21-year-old, but was powerful in the air.
RCB – Emre Can – 8/10
Another solid performance from the versatile defender, moved into midfield when captain Steven Gerrard went off with an injury, and looked controlled in possession once more.
