Five players the Reds can sign with their share of the TV pie.
Liverpool, as much as anyone else, will be eagerly anticipating their share of the new £5.1bn TV rights money that will come into effect for the 2016 season.
Knowing that a substantial cash injection is on its way, clubs may opt to disregard the stringent FFP regulations by spending heavily this summer before making it all back.

Liverpool have lost their way this season, and desperately need to get back on track, with all of this in mind here are five players they should sign to restore them as contenders for the Premier League title once again.
Saido Berahino – West Bromwich Albion
The young Baggies striker has been hot property since breaking onto the scene last season, and he quite clearly doesn’t want to be at West Brom. Where there are questions over his attitude, there are certainly none over his ability, and his movement and prowess in front of goal will be a huge asset to a club that have struggled to get the most out of their forwards.
Petr Cech – Chelsea
The veteran stopper has been told by Jose Mourinho that he is free to move on this summer, and with the 32-year-old still sure that he can offer something to another top club a move to Anfield could help all parties involved. Likely to be available for under £10m, he will represent a major step up from Simon Mignolet.
Nathan Redmond – Norwich City
Redmond’s career has not pushed on the way it should have since joining the Canaries. Having been relegated last season the winger has fallen out of the public eye somewhat, though he remains popular in the Championship. His pace and directness would be an exciting addition to the Reds midfield, and the club’s involvement in Europe would give him enough chances to shine on several stages.
Ron Vlaar – Aston Villa
Though he will be available on a free at the end of the season, the Dutch defender would be a welcome addition to the club who have so often struggled to settle on a regular, and competent, centre-back pairing.
Lars Bender – Bayer Leverkusen
They will have to beat the likes of Arsenal for his signature, but Bender would likely be a pivotal lynchpin to the Reds midfield. With Steven Gerrard set to move on, the club will need a player to come in with the ability to spray the ball around the pitch like a quarter-back. A joe that the German could do with relish.
