The 21-year-old Argentine who is rated at £30 million has been scouted by Manchester United, Chelsea, Roma and Juventus among others, and has scored 11 goals and contributed six this season.

Dybala said in an interview with an Italian magazine that when playing on the Playstation he always picks Barcelona or Manchester City and “dreams to one day play for one of those clubs.”

Over the course of this season the Palermo forward has seen his relationship with the club president, Maurizio Zamparini, become strained, with the possibility of his head having been turned by the high profile interest in him.

Zamparini has warned any potential suitors for the player that he would come at a cost, but Dybala himself scoffed at his £30 million pricetag, “I honestly think it’s an exaggeration.

“I still have a lot to prove. I try not to think too much about these labels and concentrate solely on my performance on the pitch.”

The striker arrived at Palermo in 2012 with fanfare from Zamparini, claiming he had signed the ‘next Sergio Aguero, from Argentinian side Instituto for a fee of £10.5 million and has impressed during his time in Italy.
